Quazal, a provider of online multiplayer components for PC and console games, announced the availability of Quazal Spark!, a new ‘lobby in a box’ for PC and console development. Spark! provides online game developers and publishers with an implementation for their lobby and matchmaking features. Targeting cross-platform parity, Quazal Spark! ships with completed implementations of most necessary features for online gaming. This includes authentication, friends lists, matchmaking and statistics reporting in a skinnable user interface, as well as full error handling. Spark! provides an easy way for developers to get a game lobby up and running early in development, meaning that they can focus on more advanced features as ways to differentiate their game in the marketspace. Quazal will be unveiling Spark! in booth #644 at the Game Developers Conference in San Jose, March 22nd to 24th. Any interested parties are encouraged to contact Quazal in order to arrange a meeting, or to simply stop by the booth to learn more about the products.
