According to fan site GCAdvanced, UK developer Rare are already in receipt of development kits for the Nintendo DS portable and are planning two titles for the new format. The move was apparently confirmed by Microsoft Game Studios executive Ken Lobb, who suggested that one of the titles would be a version of the as yet unreleased Game Boy Advance title It’s Mr Pants. Although it could be argued that the continued dominance of Nintendo in the handheld market favors Microsoft, it must be embarrassing for the company that since its expensive acquisition two years ago, Rare has released more titles for the Game Boy Advance than for the Xbox.
