Computer graphics production agency Realtime Arts announced its formation as a limited liability company focused on serving the virtual worlds, simulations, and serious games industries. The company will provide both production services and training courses in content creation. Realtime Arts president Christian Greuel believes that the company's services provide an opportunity for clients who require training but lack travel funds. "We believe that our unique combination of production and training offerings places our customers in a position to benefit from the current economic conditions," he says. "By working with remote teams, we offer our production clients excellent value. At the same time, we are helping to train creative individuals around the world who desire to improve upon their existing skill sets, without the need for increasingly expensive travel." Realtime's training courses cover several fields, including animation, architecture, graphic design, visual effects, and visual simulation, among others. Its production services include 3D modeling and animation, programming, scripting, project management, concept development, and design documentation, with expertise noted in urban simulation, geo-referenced terrain, and CAD format conversions. Realtime's first clients as an LLC are developer Blue Newt Software and graphics hardware manufacturer NVIDIA. The company is currently discussing additional partnerships in the development and training fields, with related announcements to come in 2009.
