Celebrated Rez and Lumines designer Tetsuya Mizuguchi of Q Entertainment is developing a music game for Atari, the publisher announced. The title, tentatively titled QJ, is apparently a Wii exclusive, according to consumer site Eurogamer, reporting on an Atari press event. During the same event, Atari also revealed plans to release a boxed compilation of the recent Xbox 360 Live Arcade editions of Mizuguchi's best-known titles -- Rez HD, Lumines Live, and Every Extend Extra Extreme -- including all their available downloadable content. Eurogamer reports that the box set will be called Q3 -- pronounced "cubed" -- and will retail for €30 ($40) when it comes out in 2009, the same year that Mizuguchi's new Wii music title is slated to arrive. Recently, PopCap Games also announced it's working with Q Entertainment forpcoming Nintendo DS release of casual title Peggle.
