Officials from Japanese arcade giant Sammy have confirmed details of a new deal between the company and International Game Technology – the world’s largest manufacturer of slot machines. The deal with the US-based company will allow Sammy to more rapidly expand its overseas operations, which includes both slot machines and coin-operated video games, the latter of which will benefit from Sammy’s majority shareholdings in Sega.
