Officials from British publisher SCi have reported the company’s first half fiscal results, with the company achieving a record turnover of £9.4 million ($17.26m) in the six months ended March 31 - an increase of 29% on the same period last year. The company’s loss before tax was £0.79 million ($1.45m), which is an improvement over last year’s figure of £0.85 million ($1.56 million) – especially since a loss of £4 million ($7.34m) had actually been predicted. The company expects to hit profitability for the foreseeable future and already has four major products on schedule for release this financial year, including new entries in the Carmageddon and Conflict franchises.
