Conference producer The Game Initiative has announced the second annual Seattle Games Conference, a Job Conference and Resume Workshop to be held in Seattle in February. The conference is designed for both students and professionals looking for work in the video game industry. Events this year, as in previous years, include a job conference and a résumé workshop. "The program identifies technology trends and job requirements, includes a detailed resume workshop as well as an overview of the qualifications and skill-sets that are in demand," said Game Initiative Executive Director Christopher Sherman. "Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and network with industry insiders throughout the day and participate in the Demo Reel Showcase, where can bring their laptops to showcase their demo reels to peers and industry professionals for direct feedback." The conference will take place on February 4, 2006, at a so-far unannounced location. More event info can be found at the conference's official website.
