321 Studios, a company that sold software capable of copying copyright-protected DVDs and videogame discs, has agreed to stop selling its product and paid a fine to the suing parties, the amount of which was not stated. The settlement was made after the Motion Picture Association of America spent two years fighting 321 Studiosā€™ product, saying its ability to break through the copyright protection is illegal.
