321 Studios, a company that sold software capable of copying copyright-protected DVDs and videogame discs, has agreed to stop selling its product and paid a fine to the suing parties, the amount of which was not stated. The settlement was made after the Motion Picture Association of America spent two years fighting 321 Studios’ product, saying its ability to break through the copyright protection is illegal.
