The 2005 World Cyber Games Grand Final will be held in Singapore, event organizers declared today. The Singapore Economic Development Board's Chairman, Teo Ming Kian said, "We are excited and honored to be the host country for the world's largest e-sports event next year. Hosting the 2005 World Cyber Games Grand Final is a boost to our efforts to position Singapore as the Asia Pacific hub in the rapidly growing games market.” This year’s competition—only the fourth in the event’s short history—will take place in San Francisco, Calif., September 8-11.
