SN Systems announced that they would be the releasing ProDG for Game Boy Advance this week and that very shortly they would be releasing ProDG for Nintendo GameCube. These new products for the latest generation of Nintendo consoles builds upon SN Systems’ Nintendo64 tools, SN64. Using ProDG for Game Boy Advance and ProDG for Nintendo GameCube, developers can develop games under the familiar Windows operating system and upload the results to the Nintendo console for running and debugging. ProDG includes a fast source-level debugger, optimized build tools, an assembler, a C/C++ compiler, a linker, optional integration with Microsoft Visual Studio and a Game Boy Advance cartridge emulator The two directors of SN Systems, Martin Day and Andy Beveridge, emphasized the strategic importance of these new products: "SN Systems has now established itself as the first port of call for game development tools, and we're keen to build upon this to provide tools for all of the latest generation of consoles", said Martin Day. "We now have an excellent suite of build and debug tools for these new Nintendo platforms", added Andy Beveridge.
