Content delivery solutions company Solid State Networks has announced a strategic partnership with MMO and virtual world services company Alchemic Dream. The companies say the partnership combines Solid State's experience in game acquisition with Alchemic Dream's customer support services, with the aim of offering MMO game publishers higher conversion rates, higher retention and higher revenues. Alchemic Dream provides services such as online game and virtual world management, in-game events, customer support and localization. The company has worked with games including Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar, Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach, Fury, Pirates of the Burning Sea and Archlord. Most recently, the company announced it would provide customer support for upcoming FPS Kwari. Solid State CEO Rick Buonincontri said, "We are excited to partner with Alchemic Dream because together we are able to offer customers a complete solution that begins with our focus on the game acquisition experience and carries through the life of the games with Alchemic Dream's wide array of game-related services. The resulting effect for publishers will be more players, playing longer, creating a solid fan base and higher revenues."
