Representatives from Sony have indicated that US sales of the PlayStation 2 have increased by 40% in the last two weeks, as the Christmas buying season begins in earnest. Sales of the PS one also increased by 31%, with sales of first party software rising by 67%, compared to August and September, and third party software by 24%.
