Officials from Square Enix have announced several alterations to their world-wide organization, with Square Enix Europe Ltd. being renamed to Square Enix Ltd. At the same time John Yamamoto, former president and CEO of Atlus USA has been appointed as president and CEO at the company. Other new appointments include Yoichi Wada, who is currently CEO of parent company Square Enix Co., Ltd. and will take up the same role at Square Enix, Inc. – the US arm of the company. Jun Iwasaki and Ichiro Otobe will share the leadership as Co-COO. Finally, Keiji Honda, former president of Enix Corporation and executive vice president of Square Enix Co., Ltd., has recently moved to Shanghai to lead the business in China. These changes are apparently to help efforts to establish a globally consistent corporate brand image, as well as further world-wide expansion. Source: Square Enix
