Officials from Eidos Interactive have confirmed that staff have been let go at the Austin based developer. Internet reports put the total number at between twenty to twenty-five, but other, unsubstantiated, rumors have also suggested that respected developer Warren Spector is also leaving the company. Although Eidos officials have claimed that “he is still there”, in a quote on GameSpot, further suggestions that the developer will shortly undergo a name change and shift in focus to PlayStation-only titles continue to grow in volume.
