With few new releases of note, the top ten in the weekly UK sales charts has seen THQ's Cars remain triumphant, with the only new entry being the original console and PC version of The Sims, which has been widely discounted by retailers across the country. The top forty has multiple new entries, though, with a new range of super budget PC titles from eGames placing Froggies at number seventeen, Moose on the Loose at number eighteen, Galaxy of Games: Yellow Edition at number nineteen and Mahjongg Master 2 at number twenty-nine. The only new entry of the week from a traditional publisher is Sony’s Singstar Anthems at number twenty, although it is also not a full price title. With even less new games due for release next week, the UK charts are likely to remain dominated by budget titles and re-releases until September.
