The fiscal first half results for Japanese developer Tecmo have proved to be in line with the company’s expectations, which were raised earlier in the year after higher than expected sales of Monster Farm 4 (to be known as Monster Rancher 4 in the West) and various pachinko simulators. Although the company’s Western success has so far been limited to the Dead or Alive franchise it still managed to record a profit of ¥260 million ($2.4m) and sales of ¥3.9 billion ($35.8m). The results show a 40% increase in year-on-year turnover.
