Typhoon Labs has released the latest version of its OpenGL Shader Designer, an IDE for developing fragment and vertex shaders in glsl (the OpenGL shading language). The latest revision in almost a month, the Shader Designer revision 1.5.8 is host to a number of improvements, such as added project compatibility with the Linux version of the software. The update also has improved Open GL 2.0 support, fixed ortho mode, improved code folding, and additional shaders and textures added. The product also includes a Fractal Explorer application for navigating through some common fractals, including zones of the Mandelbrot set or the Julia planes, and the entire package is currently downloadable from the Typhoon Labs page.
