Officials from French video game publisher Ubisoft have reported a 12% rise in full year sales for the company, to a total of €508.4 million ($607m). Excluding currency effects, sales rose 22.5% percent from the same period a year ago. Thanks to a good start to the year, with titles such as Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Far Cry proving extremely successful, the company has suggested that its free cash flow, excluding acquisitions, for the next financial year was expected to exceed €50 million, compared to an initial forecast of €30 million. The company also revealed total sales figures for some of its top franchises, as seen below. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time - 2.4 million units Ghost Recon Island Thunder/Jungle Storm - 1.1 million units Rainbox Six 3 - 2.2 million units Splinter Cell - 6 million units Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow - 1.7 million units Source: iWon Money
