Hitman: Blood Money has hung on to the number one spot for a second week in the latest UK video game sales chart, albeit during a soft week for both sales and new releases. The only new entry in the top ten is Half-Life 2: Episode One, although its position in the chart is solely due to the retail version of the game sold by Electronic Arts, and does not take into account the likely considerable number of online sales via Steam. There has been little other movement of note in the top ten, although last week’s new releases Super Princess Peach on DS and Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends on PC have both improved on their debut placings. Super Princess Peach has risen from number twenty-nine to eighteen, while Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends has moved from thirty-two to thirty-seven. The only other new entry in the top forty is Digital Polyphony’s Tourist Trophy which enters at a surprisingly low number fourteen, following a generally indifferent critical response from the British media.
