Officials from Vivendi Universal Games have announced a new multi-year deal that will see Radical Entertainment exclusively develop products for the company. The two companies will collaborate on the development of six multi-platform titles based on new and existing entertainment franchises. Vivendi will also obtain a royalty-free license to Radical’s proprietary game development technologies, as well as an option to purchase the company during the contract’s term. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The Vancouver based Radical, which employs over 200 staff, has already developed hits The Simpsons: Hit & Run and Hulk for the company.
