Warner Bros., just one entertain arm of the media conglomerate Time Warner, today announced it will purchase Monolith Productions, a Kirkland, Wash.-based gamemaker, the Associated Press reported today. The two companies have worked closely on the Matrix Online together over the last two years. The senior vice president of Warner Bros. Entertainment, Jason Hall, also co-founded Monolith 10 years ago. The acquisition is expected to be completed on October 1.
