Cheadle, UK-based developer <a href="http://www.warthog.co.uk">Warthog</a> announced that it has acquired Zed Two, a studio with has offices in Manchester, UK and Sweden.
Under the terms of the deal, Zed Two principals will receive £1.5 million in Warthog shares, dependent on Zed Two's cumulative profits through March 31, 2005. Zed Two was founded in 1996 by Steve and John Pickford, and developed the puzzle game Wetrix and its sequel, Aqua Aqua, and is currently working on the strategy game Pillage, among others.
