Microsoft has announced that its regular Wednesday Xbox Live Arcade update will see the addition of 2006 Japanese arcade shooter Triggerheart Exelica. The game, which also received a later port to Sega's Dreamcast, allows players to take down or trap and toss enemies by shooting them with anchors from humanoid weapons called Triggerhearts. The latest version features five stages of enhanced graphics, new BGM soundtracks, three difficulty levels and an attack system that adjusts the difficulty level to match player skill. Triggerheart Exelica will also have the requisite full slate of Xbox Live leaderboards and achievements, and will be available globally for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).
