SAN MATEO, Calif. - May 30, 2024 - Monomi Park, creators of the top-rated Slime Rancher franchise, launched the newest content update, "Add to Cart, ProntoMart" for Slime Rancher 2. Approved by explorer-extraordinaire Beatrix LeBeau herself, the content update includes ProntoMart, a new in-game shop feature where players can spend their Newbucks, the in-game currency earned by wrangling slimes and selling their plorts, on new items like gadgets, blueprints, and more. These updates are free for existing owners of Slime Rancher 2. New players are able to join the adventure on Xbox Series X/S and Windows PC for $29.99. Players who pre-purchase the game for PlayStation 5 can start playing early on June 7, 2024, at 10:00 AM PST before it's available on June 11th.

Players new to the franchise can purchase the Slime Rancher Rainbow Bundle and get Slime Rancher and Slime Rancher 2 for a savings of 10% SRP.

Key Features of 'Add to Cart, ProntoMart' Update:

"Add to Cart, ProntoMart" adds ProntoMart, a new in-game shop feature where players spend their Newbucks on gadgets and decorations. Customize the Conservatory with decorative gadgets like the Striped Beach Blanket or create a restful park environment with the Large Simple Bench. Or add functional gadgets that slimes can interact and play with whether it’s music or playing with the Seesaw.

ALL NEW SHOP SYSTEM: Players will use the updated shop system for new gadgets and rewards. No matter what, the shop is filled with rare and limited-time items to surprise and delight players. This new system simplifies the shopping experience and makes it easier for players to decorate their Conservatory, build new gadgets and find new ways to thrill and delight their slimes.

NEW GADGETS and CONSERVATORY EXPANSION: Players will find new gadgets to decorate The Digsite, a new expansion for their Conservatory. Functional gadgets are fun and interactive, like musical floor tiles that light up and play a harmonious note when hit by a slime or an object. There are also new decorative gadgets like a Tall Pink Reef Tree for the perfect tidepools motif, a Sakura Umbrella to celebrate the cherry blossoms season, and golden statues of fan-favorite slimes like the Batty Slime and Tabby Slime. A total of 51 unique gadgets and 31 additional gadget variations are added to this update for the player's adventuring and ranching needs.

NEW SLIME TOYS KEEP SLIMES HAPPIER LONGER: With some luck, players can purchase Slime Toys from Coo-Coo Corner to chill out agitated slimes. Each slime has a favorite toy, so players must pay attention. Some toys are better than others at keeping certain slimes as cool as cucumbers. Old favorites from the original Slime Rancher return as well including the Rubber Ducky and Yarn Ball, and new toys like the Extreme Bouncy Ball, a Full Moon Ball, Glowbug, platform exclusives, and more!
