PORTLAND, JANUARY 30, 2024 - A new year is upon us and the scrappy crew at Panic are back with a fresh batch of games arriving later today to Catalog - their curated on-device and web-based games store for Playdate - as well as recap the games that came to Catalog earlier in January.
This month has a treasure-trove of classic and innovative puzzle games that are perfect for short burst sessions in-between the bigger game releases of the year or to master and become the best on the leaderboards!

♟️ Chess - It’s Chess, on Playdate! WOW!
🔠 Diction - A word based puzzle game where you're given a starting word, and your goal is to turn it into a different word by adding, changing or removing only a single letter at a time.
🧪Easy Godding - A light-hearted alchemy game where you combine two elements to make a third, new element. Combine the elements to create the world!
🔼Medial - Sudoku meets Minesweeper in this unique little puzzle game. Fill the 5x5 grid with the 3 shapes, so that each row and column has one of the 3 shapes and 2 blank spaces.
🟧 SHIFT II - A sequel to 2022's award nominated puzzle game, Shift II takes the familiar and adds all new mechanics, strategy and ways to play.
