TOKYO – Feb. 13, 2025 – Snezhinka, the side-scrolling survival shooter developed by indie developer hinyari9 and published by PLAYISM, launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch today.
When facing endless battlefields filled with unrelenting mechanical enemies, only superior firepower can lead to victory. Take control of Snezhinka, a newly enlisted member of the private military contractor Blue Peacock Co. searching for her missing sister, drafted into this conflict. Choose Snezhinka’s battles, both on the frontline and internally against an overzealous government program taking chunks out of her hard-earned paycheck.
Manage Snezhinka’s income and spend her funds on increasingly powerful firearms, combat upgrades, and even battle-hungry companions ready to even the playing field as our heroine moves ever closer to rescuing her sister. Become a grizzled combat specialist with an easy-to-learn, hard-to-master gameplay loop of explosive offense and unbreakable defense.
Master the way of the gun with a dedicated arsenal of weapons, each with its own unique stats and techniques to learn. Get up close and personal with the rapid-firing SMG, take on enemies with assault rifles’ quick precision, or perform overwatch with the armor-piercing sniper rifle.
Partition available funds to Snezhinka’s base stats, leveling up essential skills to become an even deadlier soldier. Buff combat damage, increase the quickness of her reload speed, or create a blisteringly fast fire rate to rain lead on the enemy. Set up defensive barricades to keep the mechanical menaces at bay while deploying specialized gadgets like grenades and gun turrets to stall the advancing armies.
Become immersed in Snezhinka’s tale of love, loss, and robots in the dedicated story mode or test her combat prowess in this game’s challenge modes, joining other elite mercenaries by posting high scores online.
Snezhinka is currently available on Steam PC for $7.99 and is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch today, for $11.99 with a 10% off launch sale on the Nintendo Switch that runs till Wednesday, Feb. 26. Language options include English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
