San Mateo, California - November 21, 2023: Devsisters is excited to announce that a global playtest for CookieRun: Tower of Adventures has begun and will be available to play via Google Play Games until November 26th!
The Global Playtest will consist of two chapters, Jelly Forest and Caves, from Story Mode, where players can embark on an adventure solo or with a friend in co-op mode! Players can also test their might in Raid Mode, where up to 4 players must work together to defeat boss monsters!
The Story Mode consists of action-packed adventures with players aiming to ascend the Pancake Tower to defeat each stage and uncover the Tower’s many secrets. Each chapter holds a variety of exciting challenges, like new monsters, hidden jelly bears, and treasure chests!
In Raid Mode, teamwork is key as 4-players must band together to defeat the formidable bosses to earn rare rewards. Communicate with your fellow Cookies with an emoticon system that helps teammates share locations and coordinate plans! If a fellow Cookie runs out of energy, that Cookie can still be revived!
6 playable Cookies are available in the Global Playtest. Each Cookie, like Twisted Donut Cookie, possesses a distinct playstyle that offers unique and fun ways to take down monsters and solve puzzles! Additionally, test over 12 special artifacts that enhance a Cookie’s powers. Need a power boost? Then try the new items to raise your Cookie’s attack or defense stats!
Devsisters will also hold a special raffle event to promote the global playtest. Players who upload a screenshot of themselves playing CookieRun: Tower of Adventures on PC via Google Play Games to X (formerly known as Twitter), Instagram, or Facebook with the hashtags: “#CookieRun_TOA and #GooglePlayGames will be entered in a daily raffle for $10 Google Play gift cards.
The CookieRun: Tower of Adventures Global Playtest will help Devsisters evaluate fan feedback up to the game’s release when it launches globally in the first half of 2024.
CookieRun fans tried the game during the Google Play Games PC demo debut at G-Star 2023. The game was met with positive reviews, including how expressive the Cookies are in 3D. and the co-op gameplay.
