The Rumble Fish originally released to arcades in 2004 and quickly enthralled players with its simple yet riveting five-button, two-gauge combat system, which was acutalized through its cast of ten brilliantly-animated characters, each with their own distinctive style and personality. The Rumble Fish + is an updated version of this classic title, complete with modern-day features that fighting game players have come to expect.

[The Story of The Rumble Fish]

It is the end of the 20th century... A large-scale natural disaster struck the eastern area of a nation. It wiped out the financial sector and resulted in a staggering loss of life.

At the dawn of the 21st century, the conglomerate PROBE-NEXUS, commonly known as Probe, began reconstruction efforts in that eastern area. Colossal capital and cutting-edge technology were poured into rebuilding it. Skyscrapers that put the old high-rises to shame along with the world's biggest shopping mall and recreational facilities. [New Features: Online Multiplayer and Training Mode!]

The Rumble Fish + includes an all-new online multiplayer mode, which uses rollback netcode to provide a lag-free experience for players wishing to test their skills against rivals from across the world. An in-depth training mode has also been added, allowing players to fine-tune the CPU’s behavior to practice their combos against. The new release will still have the iconic arcade mode, where players fight their way through various encounters to learn more about each character, as well as local multiplayer for players to battle against their friends.

The Rumble Fish + releases for PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™ and Xbox One on December 21st 2023. The Nintendo Switch™ and Xbox One versions of the game are currently available for pre-order at a discounted price of 7.19 USD/EUR.
