December 20, 2021. HeroCraft PC is proud to present Anvil Saga: A Very Peculiar Christmas, a free demo set in the world of the upcoming blacksmith simulator. The demo is already available for free on Steam for a limited time. Anvil Saga is perfect for fans of base-building and economic simulation video games, or those who want a cozy experience on a cold winter's night.

In A Very Peculiar Christmas, players can enjoy the general gameplay of Anvil Saga – trading, resource management, and crafting – while experiencing a unique short campaign, special NPCs, and multiple endings that are only available in this demo.

Meet Santa, Krampus, and the Snow Queen. They are the three overlords of Christmas who all need your help to prepare for the holiday season. Players can choose who they will help, however, each overlord has its own modifiers that will change the core gameplay.

The demo will give players a glimpse into what is coming in the final release of Anvil Saga. The game will include factions, global modifiers, and choices that will affect the outcome of the game.

About Anvil Saga
Anvil Saga is a management sim with RPG elements where you take control of a blacksmith shop amidst the Hundred Years' War. Each decision you make impacts the story and gameplay. Anvil Saga is set to launch during the course of 2022.
•    Build the smithy of your dreams. Construct new rooms and underground facilities in order to expand your smithy and take on the more challenging orders. From a simple kitchen to living quarters, to logging or woodcarving workshops – each room needs to be outfitted with the appropriate furniture and décor.
•    Make decisions and deal with the consequences. Customers, relationships and decisions – they all matter! Maintain your reputation with conflicting factions, each one offering protection and bonuses for your budding enterprise. The orders which you decide to fulfil and the way you deal with each faction influences the game world and leads to a variety of tragic, fun or bewildering outcomes.
•    Become a renowned craftsman. Manage orders and try to increase your prestige level to attract the rich and the famous. Look out for unique orders that pay a premium, such as a baron’s request to create the most beautiful ring for his daughter or a wandering knight demanding you forge a one-of-a-kind sword.
•    Forge a team of professionals. Take charge of employees with different skill sets, salary levels, needs and personalities. Keep them happy by building special facilities, installing amenities and decorating their rooms. Equip your workers with special tools for faster work and help improve their craft by adding new books to your library.
