■48-hour endurance game production project by the creators of "SUPER DRINK BROS."
Neko Game Teacher, the creator of "SUPER DRINK BROS." and also known as Yoshiaki Nakamichi, a first year student at Kodansha's Game Creators Lab, started a project on Twitch from November 20 (Sat.) to November 22 (Mon.), 2021, to make a new game within 48 hours. The project started.
We started from scratch, and although we encountered some troublesome bugs, we completed the basic program of the game in 28 hours.From there, other members of the team joined in to enhance the design, music, and other aspects of the game, and eventually produced a short PV for the game within the distribution.
The title of the completed game is " Ultimate Super Powers Old Maid～3Days～". It is a 3D table card game based on the card game Old Maid, where players play against each other using a variety of skills that look like mahjong tiles.
■ The Ultimate Combination of Old Maid and Mahjong!
“Ultimate Super Powers Old Maid～3Days～” is a card game based on the card game "Old Maid ", and it is an irregular Old Maid game where the player's actions are decided by the ability tiles that are replenished every turn, apart from the cards such as Numbers and Jokers.
When the game starts, each player is first dealt a hand of five cards with hands and feet for some reason, and six ability tiles. In addition to "draw one card from the opponent's hand," the ability tiles also contain special effects that are not found in the regular Old Maid, such as "increase the opponent's hand" and "discard your hand. The player must use this Ability Tile to eliminate his or her own hand, as in the Bubba Draw, in order to win.
One of the characteristics of an Ability Tile is that it has a fixed maximum number of tiles that can appear on the field. For example, one player can monopolize one Ability Tile, and while that player is monopolized, no other player can draw that Ability Tile until that player uses the Ability Tile they are monopolizing.
The game is characterized by the fact that both players can read each other's ability tiles as well as the opponent's hand, which creates a deeper gameplay than in ordinary Old Maid.

You can set the number of players in the custom match mode to enjoy the game even with multiple players. The Ranked Match mode is a 1v1-only mode, where players compete against each other in a serious battle for rankings. Whether you want to play with others as a party game, or aim for the top rankings in a heated competition, there are game modes for a variety of players.
The custom match mode also has a spectator function, so you can enjoy the game not only with the players playing against each other, but also as a spectator. In the spectator mode, everyone's hand and tiles are shown to the public, so you can observe the gameplay between players in real time.
If the players are playing while talking, the spectators can see the lies in their conversations, and they can also watch the exciting card fights that may or may not come together while the contents of their hands are exposed.
