AIChemist (CEO Jung Min-wook) announced its participation in the 2024 PlayX4 B2B from May 23 (Thursday) to May 26 (Sunday) at KINTEX Hall 1 in Ilsan.

AIChemist, founded with the vision that modern alchemists create new value not with gold but with data and artificial intelligence, aims to provide tailored data to users struggling with data vulnerabilities and shortages through its SaaS-based synthetic data platform.

AIChemist highlights its proprietary procedural algorithm, which can generate desired terrain and cities within an hour using only GIS and cadastral maps. This method is claimed to be over ten times cheaper than the 3D scanning methodologies pursued by Tesla and Nvidia and useful for physical simulations. These automated digital twins can be used for synthetic data and content, helping businesses and society overcome various challenges.

AIChemist is making new strides in industrial safety and smart factories with AI synthetic data for clients like the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Rheinmetall. They are also collaborating with AWS to lay the groundwork for a SaaS platform, including credit provision and cooperation.

In Korea, AIChemist is an official partner with Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-WATER), working on digital twins for promotional materials and logistics sorting systems used in construction and smart factories. They also collaborate with numerous startups and research institutions that require synthetic data and digital twins.

AIChemist, primarily an AI and data technology company, is also making its mark in the content and exhibition sectors. The company has developed a game called 'Let in Diner,' incorporating AI technology to provide an enjoyable experience for both viewers and players, which will be showcased at this PlayX4 event.
They plan to release 'Let in Diner' via Steam in various formats, including VR, console, and PC. Utilizing their experience running exhibition companies, they aim to leverage YouTube and social media actively, targeting 3 billion KRW in sales within a year and significantly impacting the global horror game market.

'Let in Diner' features real-time NPC reactions based on user facial recognition, leading to substantial changes in the storyline. An AIChemist representative explained, "While games utilizing this technology are emerging, continuously tracking and changing the mainstream is a novel idea. We realized the importance of constantly fulfilling new user desires, which led to this planning and preparing high-quality, realistic visuals."

The representative added, "Horror games spread rapidly through word of mouth, often promoted by YouTubers. We focused on how streamers could generate more entertaining reactions and provide fresh stimuli. Observing the streamers' facial changes creates new video content opportunities. This approach allows us to develop a fresh game with high marketing efficiency and lower marketing costs than other games."

Following this concept, AIChemist intends to focus on markets where streamer culture is most established, such as Korea, the U.S., and Japan. They also aim to showcase their AI technology and content production capabilities to expand investment opportunities. In the second half of the year, they plan to secure funds for overseas expansion through seed investment.

A representative stated, "We plan to complete the 'Let in Diner' launch by July. The game will be available in five episodes, with plans to commercialize the brand through many 'Easter eggs' and hidden stories. We expect the first installment to generate 3 billion KRW in revenue and aim for rapid globalization. The completed 'Let in Diner' will be showcased at the Tokyo Game Show in September."

Hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by Gyeonggi Content Agency, the 2024 PlayX4 (PlayX4) B2B features new game exhibitions and experiences from domestic and international game companies under the theme 'More than the Fun of Games.' Additional programs include a retro market, esports tournaments, and cosplay events.
