Azur Lane's New "Light-Chasing Sea of Stars" Event Debuts Six New Shipgirls alongside a Collection of Freebies

December 21, 2023 - Shanghai, China - Naval shoot-em-up mobile game, Azur Lane, unveils its new event "Light-Chasing Sea of Stars," introducing six new shipgirls, among which are two distinguished Ultra Rare shipgirls. Alongside the new shipgirls, Commanders have the opportunity to acquire nine newly-released skins from the shop, in addition to a host of other exciting rewards that are available during the event. The invitation is open to all Commanders to join the event before it draws to a close on January 3rd at 11:59 PM (UTC-7).

Event Updates and Introduction

In pursuit of the truth, Guam assembled an investigative team to venture into the simulated world. However, what should have been a straightforward task became, through a twist of fate, a perilous adventure fraught with danger. Within this world where reality intertwines with illusion, the threads of 'past' and 'future' destinies have become irreversibly entangled. Can the newcomers, these young girls, navigate through the temporal mists to retrieve the truth and bring it back into reality?

In addition to the event storyline, a limited-time event is taking place, scheduled to last until January 3rd, 2024. In this event, Commanders can not only earn PT by playing through event stages to exchange for various rewards, including the Super Rare shipgirl Flasher, but they can also acquire one of the two new Ultra Rare shipgirls, Laffey II with special PT Bunbun UR Voucher, by completing the SP stage and a variety of challenges. Another new Ultra Rare shipgirl, Guam, along with three other new shipgirls have also been introduced in this event. Moreover, during the event period, an array of skins are hitting the store. Aside from nine new skins in the Bunny Girl series, there are also nine skins from the Swimsuits and Christmas series making a limited-time return.

New Shipgirls and Construction

This event welcomes six new shipgirls, and unlike before, this time the event is launching 2 Ultra Rare shipgirls at once—Guam and Laffey II. As one of the original characters who has accompanied Commanders for many years, Laffey finally receives her long-awaited evolution and can be obtained in this event by accumulating Bunbun UR Vouchers. In addition to Laffey II, there are five other new shipgirls making their debut in this event. The Ultra Rare shipgirl Guam, along with two other shipgirls, Super Rare shipgirl Constellation and Elite shipgirl San Jacinto are having a rate-up in the Limited Construction Pool during the event, while another new Super Rare shipgirl Flasher can be acquired at the standard rate, or through stage drops and PT exchange. Lastly, as usual, an Elite shipgirl, Louisville, awaits Commanders to reach milestones by accumulating PT to obtain her.

Available Skins during the Event

A total of nine new skins from the Bunny Girl series have been launched during this event, including three L2D skins, Stage-Setting Charmer for Guam, Sleepy on a Busy Day for Laffey II, and Knight of the Pop-Up Shop for Cleveland. The skins for Guam, Laffey II, and Constellation can be rented using outfit vouchers, which Commanders can earn by simply logging in throughout the event's duration. Concurrently, nine skins from the Swimsuits and Christmas series are making a rerun, featuring Northampton II and Brest's L2D swimsuit skins, as well as dynamic skins for Yorktown II and Hornet II. Commanders who previously missed these skins now have another chance to acquire them.  Finally, beyond the aforementioned skins, Commanders can look forward to securing the limited Christmas themed Vampire skin “Night Princess's Festive Feast” upon completion of the 7-day event missions.
