Baldur’s Gate III wins Game of the Year from NAVGTR

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Hi-Fi RUSH win the most awards

Baltimore (February 27, 2024) / NAVGTR CORP. – The National Academy of Video Game Trade Reviewers®, a 501(c)(3) non-profit media organization of 1,141 media voters and 14,453 subscribers, has announced winners for its twenty-third annual awards program honoring video game design and programming.   
 
The NAVGTR® Awards honor 54 competitive categories recognizing achievement in animation, art, character design, controls, game design, engineering, musical score, sound effects, writing, and more. Since its inception, the academy has recognized over 6,948 talented individuals.
 
Baldur’s Gate III earned highest honors as Game of the Year. 
 
Every Game of the Year nominee won at least one award.  Alan Wake 2 won for Graphics (Technical), Song (Original or Adapted), and Writing in a Drama.  Baldur’s Gate III won for Original Dramatic Score (Franchise), Role Playing Game (Franchise), and Game of the Year.  Dave the Diver won for Outstanding Simulation Game.  The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom won for Engineering, Gameplay Design (Franchise), and Outstanding Adventure Game (Franchise). 
 
Leading all winning games is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 with 7 awards. 
 
With her win for Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Game, Laura Bailey now ties Troy Baker as NAVGTR’s most awarded voice performer.  Both have won 3 awards. 
 
On his fifth nomination, Yuri Lowenthal won for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
