FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Bafta Nominated Eufloria Co-Creator Omni Systems Announces Publishing Arm, Bioframe Outpost Release Date Revealed.

Rudolf Kremers launches indie label Omni Systems Publishing, Bioframe Outpost set for release on 16th July 2024.

Canterbury - April 23rd, 2024 - Indie developer Omni Systems, co-creator of the hugely successful RTS Eufloria, announced today their new publishing label, Omni Systems Publishing. Simultaneously, the publisher revealed that their first title, Bioframe Outpost, is set to launch on 16th July 2024 on Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series S/X and PC (via Steam and other PC platforms).

Bioframe Outpost is a 2d sci-fi action adventure game, dedicated to exploration, experimentation, emergent gameplay, and narrative. Its photography-based approach to non-linear exploration and action gameplay offers a fresh take on Metroidvania gameplay.

Rudolf Kremers says, “Omni Systems Publishing will initially focus on bringing our in-house creations to market. We will of course expand on our existing IP, like the Eufloria universe games, but today we are extremely excited to announce the release of a completely new game: Bioframe Outpost. It’s rather different from most other games out there, and we can’t wait to show it off to the world.”

Bioframe Outpost will be available for preview at the London show W.A.S.D. (https://www.wasdlive.com/) from 25th to the 27th April 2024.

ABOUT BIOFRAME OUTPOST

Inspired by classic 70s and 80s sci-fi, Bioframe Outpost is a 2d sci-fi action adventure game, dedicated to exploration, experimentation, emergent gameplay and narrative. Its unique, photography-based approach to non-linear exploration and action gameplay offers a fresh take on Metroidvania gameplay.

The action takes place on Nova Aurora, an alien-infected terraforming station, where creatures and systems have fallen under control of the mysterious invaders.  Only you can set them free, but beware; many pose a danger to yourself once freed from the aliens’ influence.

Through a superpowered camera you can  learn how creatures behave, and discover a hugely detailed and fascinating ecosystem. Fill your “Compendium” with vital knowledge, use it to manipulate creatures and systems in order to survive. Unlock secrets on how creatures interact, how you can pit them against each other and even how to use them as weapons or pickups. The rabbit hole goes very very deep.

Explore the immense universe of Bioframe Outpost and unleash your ingenuity and creativity to solve captivating gameplay challenges.

The game will launch on 16th July on Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series S/X and PC (via Steam).

ABOUT OMNI SYSTEMS PUBLISHING

Omni Systems Publishing’s philosophy harks back to a time when videogames and new technology carried a certain optimism in their DNA. Video games of that era  inherently promised something new, not experienced before, stemming from innovations in game technology and a zeitgeist that valued scientific discovery.

The most exciting developers and publishers of the time released games that felt like they hadn’t existed before. Big evolutionary steps in the medium, or even entirely new genres, with unexpected gameplay. Not reiterating of what was done before, adhering to strict genre conventions, but forging new directions.
