December 15th, 2023 – Blast Programming the creators of hack and slash action RPG Wyvia are jumping into the fray of the Dreamhack Beyond Awards Steam event starting Friday, December 15th. Dreamhack Beyond Game Awards is dedicated to showcasing the very best indie games on the scene now with tons of prizes and a celebration of the indie spirit. You can check out the Steam Event here
Wyvia is set in a fantasy land where the wyverns tasked with protecting the world have slowly disappeared. Humans form mercenary companies to restore order and peace reigns until mysterious portals appear and monsters flood through. The player takes on the role of a new mercenary recruit trained to save the world and discover where the wyverns have gone. Players can choose from 10 classes customizing them with a robust cross-class skill system assigning a variety stats, craft and upgrade tons of weapons and accessories, explore dungeons battling a variety of enemies, and defeat terrifying bosses.

Thrilling Combat: Wyvia features fun and simple combat that feels good to utilize! Whack Goopies with a huge axe or fire away with screen clearing abilities! Using a simplified active skills system you can focus action as you dispense punishment from up close and a far and build your skills to exemplify your favored playstyle.
Limitless Choice: Mixing and matching your skills and passive abilities between classes is critical to success. As you upgrade character’s attributes, and distribute skill points you can create a truly unique character.
Expansive World: The land of Wyvia is large and filled with a variety of biomes. Sunny grasslands, deep forested hinterlands, sandy deserts, icy tundras, and more. The world once at peace is now filled with monsters that inhabit the long lost dungeons and it’s hidden treasures. In the past the Wyverns protected your world from these monstrous incursions but now that they have disappeared, it’s up to you.
Become the Wyvern: Unlock the powers hidden within you to traverse the world, utilize the powers of the wyverns to become as fearsome as those mythical creatures. Fire breath, their powerful bite, their crushing weight, and their impressive rending claws.
