Brasil Game Show consolidates its place in the ranking of the world's biggest gaming events in a Statista survey

São Paulo, March 14, 2024 - The Brasil Game Show, Latin America's largest gaming conference, is also the second largest in the world! The ranking is part of a survey recently released by the German company Statista, which specializes in market research. The study brings together the attendance numbers of events held in different countries during 2023, when BGS registered an all-time record of 328,503 attendees.

 

According to Statista's document, the total attendance at the Brazilian event, which will reach its 15th edition in 2024, is second only to ChinaJoy, which had 338,000 attendees.
 

The study also highlights the representativeness that BGS has built up in the local and global gaming market over the years that the event has been held. "The fact that we are the only gaming event in Latin America on the list confirms the great importance of BGS and the region for the industry as a whole," says Marcelo Tavares, CEO and founder of Brasil Game Show. "This is a constantly evolving market, and the experiences we provide to players contribute to the collective growth of the market."
