Edinburgh, Scotland – 13th June 2024. International independent game development studio Build A Rocket Boy has today released the Official Builders Beta Trailer and announced that it will start closed beta testing on June 18. Builders Beta is aimed at aspiring novice and hobbyist game developers who are invited to build from scratch or remix other people’s creations using the zero-code toolset that powers EVERYWHERE.   


Interested builders and creators can sign up for an account now at EVERYWHERE.GAME to reserve their username and apply.  


The Official Builders Beta Trailer showcases the latest footage to demonstrate the power of the tools and the scale of what builders can achieve within EVERYWHERE with no coding experience required.

EVERYWHERE is a place where you can unleash your creativity to build, remix, and play with others in a vast connected world. Builders Beta is the next phase of testing with a specific focus on the building functionality provided by the UGC toolset and is our first step in shaping this future together with our community.  


Anyone with an idea can now create amazing games and immersive experiences using ARCADIA, our free to play no code required powerful building tools, self-publishing system, and library of assets.  


Our innovative Stamp system is also fundamental to the limitless creative experience. Stamps are completely free virtual items that can be whole levels, gameplay components, moving objects, enemies, puzzles, or simple props. These can be shared with the community or kept private. When shared they can be used in the original design or can be edited and reshaped to take on a whole new purpose.   


For the start of Builders Beta, Build A Rocket Boy and its partners have provided a wide range of content for builders to use, play and remix to kickstart their own creative projects. Partnerships include the studios Gamefam, Dubit, Talewind, Retro Shrimp, DryCereal Games, Sovereign Games and EndoWorlds, and individuals such as Emma Nicole, DV Plays, Sarah Kendall, LotusCracker, Choum, Mara Blind and Ducain23. 


Build A Rocket Boy developers will also provide a series of tutorials and educational workshops to ignite the community and share the joy of building together with ARCADIA.   


“You do not have to be a professional programmer to create something amazing in EVERYWHERE. With the introduction of the Stamp system to the building experience, we have eliminated the "blank canvas" problem and allow you to select, reuse, and even remix the best content from the community, accelerating the prototyping process.  In the digital age, an explosion of technology and content platforms, including social media, has democratised the art of remixing. The tools and resources necessary for crafting derivative works are now within reach of anyone, a concept that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago and one that is now made possible in video games. Builders Beta is invitation only, for 16+ and on PC, focusing on testing and using the ARCADIA UGC tools. Interested builders can sign up at EVERYWHERE.GAME.
