Sword smithing title unsheathed in '25, playtesters already honing the preview build to its keenest edge.

5 December 2024 - SUN AND SERPENT creations and Mythwright today announced that cutting-edge swordmaking game Bladesong will release on Steam in 2025, and a public development preview is available to playtest right now.

Forged by SUN AND SERPENT creations, Bladesong is a unique sword crafting game set in the dark fantasy city of Eren Keep.
Taking the role of a master swordsmith, players will use innovative tools to build and customize swords down to the smallest subtlety. As you hone your craft, you'll be drawn into Eren Keep, a city standing alone in a bleak wasteland. At the gates, desperate souls beg for shelter, while inside, life persists under the watchful gaze of the Masked King – whose iron rule may prove more dangerous than the chaos outside. In Eren Keep, every blade you forge may tip the balance of power.
Bladesong’s innovative gameplay has been widely recognized across the indie sphere, winning the Digital Vikings Innovation Award 2024 and a finalist position for the Innovation Award at GDWC Summer 2024. Late this year, Bladesong was selected by Tiny Teams 2024 and OTK Winter Games Expo 2024, and was signed by independent publisher Mythwright.
