Ubisoft | London, UK - February 4, 2005 - Today, Ubisoft unleashed an electrifying, movie-style trailer for its new horror videogame Cold FearTM. Revealing the eerie details that set up the mysterious storyline, the Cold Fear trailer shocks with action-packed gameplay and suspenseful cinematics pulled directly out from the game. On a ship bound for Hell where anyone could be "DEAD" weight, this trailer displays a new level of gore and haunting realism that is certain to bring viewers' worst nightmares to life.

Players step into the role of Tom Hansen, a U.S. Coast Guard who is sent to board a drifting Russian whaling ship in the middle of a howling storm on the Bering Sea. He arrives only to discover that terrifying surprises await him on the bloodstained decks of the constantly rocking, shifting vessel. Set in a volatile, dynamic environment, players will find themselves overwhelmed by fear as they engage in intense combat with intelligent enemies.
Developed by Darkworks, Cold Fear will launch for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox® video game system from Microsoft in March 2005.
