Door407 :

June 8th - Diplomacy is Not an Option is soon to leave Early Access introducing the complete story campaign. A single playthrough will take about 50 hours, while multiple choices and endings will provide players with more than 100 hours of gameplay.

Following the game’s main character in his unexpected adventure, players will visit two different continents. They will defend from massive hordes of enemies, defeat deadly bosses, build grandiose monuments and assault enemy cities.

Or will they support one of the four unique factions? The peculiar feature of Diplomacy is Not an Option is that it provides the player with multiple choices throughout the campaign - sometimes it’s an opportunity to change allegiance and sometimes it’s a choice between two paths and two different missions to play.

New lands mean new people, so a new faction of the Sarranga tribe will make its way into the game. The Undead are also waiting for reinforcements in the form of a few more units. But do not fear: despite the danger they pose any player will find a difficulty to match their skills. In addition to three existing difficulty settings, the release update will add two more: one for the most casual and one for the most hardcore players.

New mission objectives will also have players to think of better strategies to complete them. Should they focus on expanding or on building? Should they attack now or defend?

The new release status doesn’t mean it’s the last update for the game. The developer, Door 407 plans to add more features to the game, like Map Editor, more content and continue refining existing modes - Sandbox and Endless - with players’ feedback.

Diplomacy is Not an Option is available on Steam, EGS, GOG and Humble now for £19.99/$24.99/€20.99. The price will slightly increase with the release. To follow the news of the development process, join the game’s official Discord.
