Capture critters in clouds and pop them away! Dive into Smoothcade, a cooperative puzzle-platform adventure with a nostalgic nod to retro video games. Set to launch on November 14, 2024, Smoothcade blends classic platform jumping with quick puzzle-solving skills for a fresh yet familiar gaming experience. Each level presents a unique challenge—whether it's clearing enemies, collecting fruit, popping balloons, or finding keys and doors.

In Smoothcade, you and up to three friends will hunt down pieces of the magical Golden Blender. Trap enemies using cloud-like projectiles called Cloudies, and then pop the Cloudies to clear the screen. Switch between "Mercy" Cloudies, which make enemies float upwards, and "Mayhem" Cloudies, which send them plummeting downward. Mastering these Cloudie types allows you to set up combo scores and earn special bonuses.

Inspired by beloved classics like Bubble Bobble, Ice Climbers, and Solomon's Key, Smoothcade combines retro charm with modern features. Independent developer Joseph J. shares, "I want to create something that anyone, regardless of past gaming experience, can pick up, play, and create memories." Smoothcade offers a nostalgic arcade experience while introducing contemporary elements such as online leaderboards, achievements, and speed-running challenges.
