Haarlem, The Netherlands, December 11th, 2024 - The creative duo behind the indie sensation Strange Horticulture, are back with the gameplay reveal for their latest project: Strange Antiquities. Get a first in-depth look at the mechanics in the enchanting standalone sequel promising to whisk players back to the shadowy, rain-soaked alleys of Undermere, but this time with a new store and deeper mysteries to uncover.

Set in a cozy, candlelit shop dealing in arcane artifacts, Strange Antiquities places players in the shoes of an apprentice Thaumaturge. As the apprentice, you'll identify and catalogue strange items, assist the locals, and navigate the intricate web of secrets in Undermere—all whilst accompanied by Jupiter, the shop’s ever-purring feline.

“We wanted to build on the ideas we explored in Strange Horticulture,” says Rob. “This time, we’re adding new layers of detective work that add more variety and new challenges. We’re excited to hear what you think of this sneak peek!”
