Freezebeam :

For Immediate Release

July 19, 2024 - Boston based indie game developer, Freezebeam, announces Evoplasm, a Roguelike creature building and fighting game for the PC.This unique game allows players to build microorganisms from cells, mutate and evolve to grow stronger, and fight other creatures in real-time tactical battles across multiple campaign acts. It’s inspired by games like Spore and FTL.

About Evoplasm

In Evoplasm, players build and grow microorganisms from cells. Then they can unlock and add mutations to gain new attacks, defenses, passive effects, and special abilities. And they’ll need to think tactically to put together all of the powerful synergies they can muster, as they will be fighting against other weird/cute, microorganic abominations who are ready to battle!

After picking one of many unlockable starter organisms, players strategically make their own path across multiple campaign acts, taking on battles, elites, friendly NPC encounters, and other mysteries, balancing risk and reward to get strong enough before fighting an epic boss battle. Players can unlock new mutations by completing their Evopedia of hostile organisms. Prestige difficulties let players up the stakes, increasing difficulty and variety.

Evoplasm is coming soon to Steam and its announcement trailer is live. Find out more and watch the trailer at the Steam store page https://store.steampowered.com/app/3010490/Evoplasm?utm_source=email&utm_campaign=anncpr
