Gameforge :

MMORPG fans should brace themselves, as today a double whammy of epic announcements has landed from international publisher Gameforge: the launch of anime action MMORPG NosTale’s NosFire event server and the launch of AION Classic Europe’s highly anticipated 2.7 update “Rise of the Revenant.”

NosTale

Starting today and continuing for nine weeks until May 28, NosTale’s NosFire temporary event server provides new players with a compelling reason to jump in and immerse themselves in its vibrant universe. Launching worldwide, this presents a unique opportunity for newer players to accelerate their character’s advancement, with significantly quicker leveling compared to standard NosTale servers.

Once the event is complete, players will be permitted to complete one character transfer (along with gear and a restricted quantity of items), allowing them to take their supercharged avatar with them to a regular server of their choice.

To help NosTale players burn through levels during NosFire, the server features a permanent double EXP boost, as well as 2X fairy experience, 4X family experience, double drops, and double gold too, for good measure. But that’s not all, as special “boost” events – event weekends – will be available, which can provide an additional 2X multiplier for gold, XP, and drops, quadrupling the rewards during this period!

Key Features of NosTale’s NosFire event server:

  • Get It While It’s Hot: Temporary NosFire server begins on March 26 and runs for nine weeks until May 28

  • Gotta Go Fast: Supercharged progression and double EXP boosts allow players to blaze through levels and reach endgame content quicker

  • Potential for Progression: Special boost weekends provide more chances for boosted player progression

  • Plus One: When the event ends, players can take their NosFire character to a regular server, with one free transfer permitted

AION Classic Europe

Update 2.7 introduces the formidable new “Revenant” class, available exclusively in AION Classic. Revenants are Daevas – warriors who were captured by Tiamat’s Legion, forced into subjugation, and subjected to brainwashing and experimentation. Upon breaking free, they restore their wiped memories and return to Atreia to start anew. However, these survivors harbor resentment towards their superiors, the sacrifices made by their comrades having not been honored. In response, they choose to rebel and carve out their own path.

“I will become a Daeva who decides and executes my own destiny.”

Rise of the Revenant brings a newly added starting region, Telos, accessible exclusively by Soldiers (starting class) and Revenants (Soldiers who’ve become Revenants by completing special missions). Created by Siel’s Relic, Telos is a space where the memories of Tiamat and Daeva Subject 707 have coalesced, creating an unstable spacetime flux. However, the trade-off is that the Revenant class cannot complete certain campaigns in Ishalgen, Altgard, Poeta, and Verteron.
