GAMEWORKS INTRODUCES POPULAR SEGA VIDEO GAME MUSHIKING TO THE US MARKET

GameWorks | GLENDALE, Ca.- GameWorks, owned by Sega Entertainment, U.S.A, Inc., announced the arrival of the video game Mushiking to seven of the companies U.S. locations. The game has been a smash hit overseas, with spin offs in television, merchandising and tournament play. Mushiking is a card-collecting strategy game, is described as a high tech version of Rachambeau, Jan Ken Po or Rock-Paper-Scissors.

GameWorks is the first entertainment venue to offer the game in the United States. GameWorks currently has 50 of the units in place, with another 16 being delivered to other cities in the next two weeks. The company plans to educate guests on the Mushiking game and experience, and host tournaments later this year.

Mushiking can currently be found at the following GameWorks locations: Ontario, CA; Tempe, AZ; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Miami, FL; Dallas, TX; Columbus, OH and Tucson, AZ. Additional sites receiving the game will be Schaumburg, IL; Seattle, WA; San Antonio, TX; & Indianapolis, IN.

GameWorks is the total entertainment experience, consisting of a full-service restaurant, a high-energy bar and interactive games and attractions. Since its first location premiered in 1997, GameWorks has opened 14 venues throughout the United States. There are also a growing number of international GameWorks venues.
