Mainz, Germany –November 25, 2021– Independent development studio netmin games GmbH announces the release of Goalgetter on Steam starring former Brazilian professional football player Ailton. The game will be released in October 2022.
Goalgetter is a first-Person Football Manager game that gives you the chance to make your dream, of becoming a top striker in one of the major European leagues, come true.
In Goalgetter, you are a young and very gifted football player getting the chance to play in the top league. Fight to achieve an essential position for yourself in your team, either by intensive training or by winning the sympathies of the fans and the trainer in other ways.
The game is supported by the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure on the basis of a decision by the German Bundestag.

About Ailton
Aílton Gonçalves da Silva (born 19 July 1973) is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a striker.
Aílton began his career in Brazil where he played for Ypiranga, Internacional, Mogi Mirim, Santa Cruz, and Guarani. Following a stint with Tigres UANL in Mexico, he moved to Germany joining SV Werder Bremen.
He spent six seasons with Werder Bremen, winning the double of Bundesliga and cup in the 2003–04 season, before transferring to league rivals FC Schalke 04.
In the latter stages of his career he played for Beşiktaş Istanbul, Hamburger SV, Red Star Belgrade, Grasshoppers Zürich, MSV Duisburg, Metalurh Donetsk, SCR Altach, Campinense, and Chongqing Lifan.
He won the Bundesliga and two times the German Cup with Werder Bremen. Due to his achievements at Bremen, he was selected in 2004 as the first foreigner to win the Footballer of the Year (Germany) award.
