GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION 2 CELEBRATES LAUNCH OF MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED FREEDOM ANIME, ADDS FREEDOM GUNDAM TO ROSTER

IRVINE, Calif – Jan. 22, 2024 – Kira Yamato…Freedom Gundam…taking off! Following the results of a player community survey conducted last year, MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION 2 is offering new in-game mobile suits, branching beyond Universal Century to add new fan-favorite mobile suits. In celebration of the upcoming launch of the new Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom anime feature film, the Steam® version of MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION 2 has added Freedom Gundam to the fleet of mobile suits available to the players. For PlayStation® users, the version has added Engage Zero Booster Type to its ranks. The new mobile suits will be available via supply drops, which can be earned in-game or purchased separately and are now available. The base game MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION 2 is available now to download and play for free on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and PC via Steam®. MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION 2 features intense 6v6 online team combat that immerses pilots from around the world in epic battles. Players can launch in their favorite Mobile Suits for battles over land and space. They can also fight against other pilots in Infantry Battles, where they can enter and exit their mecha for strategic ground-based combat that can turn the tide of battle, placing bombs in enemy bases, repairing their units, or requesting support fire. MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION 2 features over 350 Mobile Suits and 17 playable maps inspired by iconic locations based on the popular anime series.
