Burton-on-Trent, UK. Having introduced the voice actors for The Guardians and Heroes, publisher Playtonic Friends is excited to reveal the talent of Elsie’s NPCs. Developed by Knight Shift Games, Elsie is an action-packed rogue-like action platformer set in a neo-retro world filled with procedurally generated levels where legions of deadly robots stand between you and discovering the truth of the disasters plaguing your home planet. Elsie will be released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch in late summer 2024. Fans can add Elsie to their Wishlists for PC and PlayStation now and try out the free PC demo!


Elsie’s NPCs play a crucial role as you blast through each of your runs, providing vital enhancements and information to aid you in your quest. As you take the time to regroup after each level run in the beachside bastion known as Sapir Wharf, a place of relative respite from the action, you will meet the cast of quirky NPCs poised to offer their brand of support to get you back in the fight. About Elsie
Elsie is a neo-retro, hyperkinetic, rogue-like action platformer filled with procedurally generated levels and an army of robots to blast through.


After an attack on the City of Neotoño, Dr. Grey takes refuge in a beachside bastion known as the Sapir Wharf.


Here, she creates Elsie: an android given a mission to uncover the mystery behind the attack and save planet Ekis from the disasters that have plagued it.


Players must dash, dive, and shoot their way through stages filled with dynamic enemies and intense boss fights, all while performing perfectly timed precision parrying. In this roguelike rollercoaster, players will die and die and die again – but you’ll always get back on your feet to embrace the chaos.
