Indie developer Half Past Yellow switches production focus from Spectacle to unannounced project.

Half Past Yellow :
Copenhagen, DK - July 16, 2024 - Award winning game developer Half Past Yellow has announced that their current project, Spectacle, will be delayed indefinitely due to lack of financial backing. The studio needed to downscale in May, reducing the development team from 10 to 8, and the difficult decision to switch production focus came soon afterwards.
The studio is optimistic about the direction they are taking with the new project and are excited to show more of the game in the coming weeks.

Half Past Yellow is a Copenhagen-based indie-studio. In 2022 we released Time on Frog Island, a wholesome adventure game about trading with frogs. The game received the Nordic Game award for Best Fun For Everyone, and the Spilprisen award Best Kids Game and Best Debut. Half Past Yellow was founded in 2017, the team have released 2 games over the last 6.5 years.
