ABOUT THIS GAME


Hand in Hand is a 2D video game with puzzles that is played on a split-screen. You can control two characters at the same time, or you and another player can work together on one device. Use teamwork to solve puzzles and overcome challenges in the ethnic world of two heroes. Only by holding hands and working together can you overcome the toughest obstacles.

A TOUCHING STORY

Two soulmates live in a fairytale world. But when evil came to their world, they lost each other. Now both of them need to head towards each other, facing many difficulties and dangers along the way. And only by finding a fragile connection between one another and going hand in hand will they be able to defeat evil and meet again. It's a story about how we can help one another even when you're apart, and be far from one another even when you're nearby. It's a story about the importance of relationships and mutual support. But every story has an even deeper meaning...


SPLIT SCREEN

The game is played on split screens with a character on each screen in their designated position. There are two modes available. The first mode is for one player where he controls both characters with one joystick. High proficiency in controller skills is needed for this mode.  The second mode is for local cooperative play where two players each control a character using their respective joystick. Both players have control of their character on the screen.  In single player mode, you need to show great skill and quick reflexes. Each mode has its own advantages. However, in co-op mode, you can enjoy playing with your loved ones. We suggest giving both modes a try and hope that you will have fun finishing the game.


THE CHARACTERS INTERACT WITH AND HELP EACH OTHER

Every character has their own area of the level, but some parts of the level are linked. This enables the characters to communicate with each other and finish the level together. Characters can transfer keys and objects from one part of the screen to another, and both characters must work on many puzzles together, linking different parts of the screen and solving puzzles together.


EPIC BOSSES

The game features thrilling battles against bosses. Each boss symbolizes a world of shadows that has entered the fairytale forest and aims to make all inhabitants suffer eternal darkness. Our daring heroes Linna and Enho have to conquer each boss to restore peace and prosperity to the fairy forest. Boss battles take place without splitscreen, and are designed to be played by just one of the characters, so each character must defeat their evil shadow bosses.


PUZZLES

As they journey through the crumbling world of fairy tales, the characters will face ongoing challenges in the form of puzzles such as locked doors, laser beams with reflectors, ancient machinery and ruins, mazes, and perilous caves. Although our protagonists will be able to overcome all obstacles, each will need to try their best to succeed and assist their mate.
